The story of Puptown Lounge was many years in the making. In fact, it's foundation was an entire childhood being around many, many dogs that spawned the idea for the business. We were raised in a zoo-like home with our mom grooming dogs out of the basement of our Arlington home, four dogs of our own, and four very young children, all under 110o square feet. To say life was crazy growing up is an understatement. Through that craziness, Sarah and I learned what hard work was, and we also found a deep love for dogs. Tiger Mushroom Farms was founded by Te’Lario II when he was 7 years old after a Cub Scout project ended. At his 1st Cub Scout meeting, Te’Lario planted catgrass and basil, which is where his love of watching things grow began. He enjoyed tending to the plants every day afterschool. Before he tended to his plants, he had to complete his homework. Once the project ended, we wanted him to continue his passion, but also because it was an an incentive to complete his homework. We wondered what he could grow in the winter time in Ohio, and Te’Lario said, “mushrooms, because mushrooms grow in the...

Aaron and his wife were married several years before even thinking about kids. She worked as a social worker, and he worked for a state pension, but after finding out they were expecting Harrison, the two decided Aaron would stay home. He spent Harrison's first two years doing what he always wanted to do, being home with his son. After Harrison started preschool at 18 months, Aaron used his passion for photography to photograph real estate during his free mornings. When business slowed down in the winter months, Aaron started using his photography skills for another purpose, to shoot pictures of his son. A way to keep occupied turned into something...

Hello, we are the Culvers. We met on an Internet dating site. My husband Soluman was born in Oregon and raised in Bellingham, Washington. I am from Columbus and had moved around the country a bit before coming back to Columbus to “settle” in. When we met, he was a medical student and lieutenant in the Army on hiatus from school to go through a divorce. I had my Masters degree in Education and was working at a local university as a federal loan officer, also getting a divorce. We were both finishing up divorces. It is not a classic love story, but it is...

Jordan and Georgia were introduced six years ago, on June 28th, at the Columbus ComFest Festival.  And, to no surprise,  It didn't take them long to take a liking to each other.  Jordan's casual laid back demeanor and Georgia's feisty bubbly personality-- just clicked.  Both of them grew up on the east side of Columbus.  And, when you added their mutual love for nature and music--a foundation was created. Before they knew it, they were moving into an apartment on Northwood and Summit--making sure to be in walking distance to their beloved spot--the Suzi-Cue Pool Hall. Yes. They fell in love.  Yes. They were young.  At the time, Jordan was still attending The Ohio State University for his...
